Exeter have completed the re-signing of Alex Nicholls on loan from Northampton.
The 26-year-old forward spent five weeks with the Grecians earlier this season and impressed during his six appearances and has now returned to St James Park until January ahead of their clash with Accrington on Friday night. "I'd said to Chris Wilder (Northampton's manager) if at any point he is able to come back to us then let us know, and he did," boss Paul Tisdale explained. "We are very pleased to add him to the squad. He is a very good player and adds strength in depth. He fitted in very well when he was here and is the type of player that fits our fluid style. "Hopefully his form of a month or two ago can be repeated."
