Bradford's Tommy Doherty will edge closer to a return to first-team action when he appears for the reserves this week.
The 32-year-old midfielder, signed by former Bantams boss Peter Taylor from Wycombe last summer, has been sidelined since late December due to an ankle injury. The former Northern Ireland international returned to full training last week and will feature for the reserves against Sheffield Wednesday. Striker Chib Chilaka, recalled from his loan spell at Harrogate Town, will also look to impress manager Peter Jackson alongside first-team players Lee Bullock, Robbie Threlfall, Leon Osborne and goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley.
