Colchester are monitoring Marc Tierney and Pat Baldwin this week after both suffered injuries in the draw at Southampton.
Full-back Tierney was forced off with a hip injury during the first half while centre-half Baldwin suffered an ankle knock and failed to appear after half-time in the 0-0 draw. "They both suffered direct blows so hopefully they're not as severe as pulls and strains," said manager John Ward. "We will do a bit of work with them this week and hopefully we'll get them back."
