Wycombe Wanderers boss Gary Waddock is confident midfielder Tommy Doherty has not suffered another serious ankle injury.
Doherty missed the first 15 games of the season thanks to an ankle injury and sat out Saturday's 2-1 win over Stockport with another problem.
However, Waddock says he left Doherty out of his plans as a precaution and confirmed he is not expecting a lengthy lay-off
Waddock said: "Doc picked up an ankle injury really late in the session on Friday on the same ankle that he had a problem with earlier in the season.
"It wasn't serious, but I didn't want to take a risk, especially with the injury happening so late.
"Injuries are part and parcel of the game and we will not change the style of our training because we want to take that into a game situation."
