Moroccan agrees switch following Muntari departure

Genoa midfielder Houssine Kharja has moved on loan to Inter Milan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move. The 28-year-old Morocco international makes the switch to the Giuseppe Meazza after some impressive performances in Serie A and has already trained with his new Nerazzurri team-mates. It comes after Premier League outfit Sunderland completed a loan deal for Inter midfielder Sulley Muntari on the same day. A statement on the club's official website said: "Houssine Karja is an Inter player. "The paperwork for his signing from Genoa on loan with the possibility of signing him permanently in June has been completed. "The player, who in the morning had already trained with the Nerazzurri thanks to permission with Genoa, will wear the number 14 jersey." Kharja has had previous stints in Italy with Roma, Piacenza and Siena and will no doubt be eager to impress at the European champions.
