Russia made no mistake in their away meeting with Group B minnows Andorra as they wrapped up a 2-0 win in their opening Euro 2012 qualifier.
Two goals, one in either half, from Pavel Pogrebnyak secured the three points at Estadi Comunal on Friday evening.
The Stuttgart striker opened the scoring in the 14th minute and then made sure of the victory with a 65th minute penalty after Maltese referee Marco Borg had pointed to the spot.
