England remain third in the latest FIFA rankings following their recent 2-1 victory against Euro 2012 finalists Italy.

England remain third in the latest FIFA rankings following their recent 2-1 victory against Euro 2012 finalists Italy. Portugal are the only nation to move up inside the top 10, with Paulo Bento's team climbing from fourth to fifth at the expense of Uruguay. Reigning world and European champions Spain stay top, with Germany second ahead of Roy Hodgson's men. Republic of Ireland remain 26th, Wales drop eight places to 45th, Scotland slip to 47th and Northern Ireland tumble 28 places to 129th. Switzerland break into the top 20 with a three-place rise from 23rd, while big movers Slovenia are up nine spots to 24th. Belgium also make a huge leap from 53rd to 40th.
