Hodgson wants Elm and Brozek at Craven Cottage

Skysports.com understands that Fulham want to sign Swedish forward David Elm and Poland striker Pawel Brozek. A £500,000 deal for Kalmar ace Elm is thought to be close to completion, with the 26-year-old admitting on Monday that one club is showing significant interest. But the player's agent has confessed that a number of sides across Europe are also hoping to complete a transfer before Tuesday's 5pm deadline. Wisla Krakow star Brozek is also a target and the Polish champions are believed to value the 26-year-old at £2million. Fulham manager Roy Hodgson is keen to acquire attacking reinforcements as he attempts to balance domestic competitions with participation in the Europa League. Andy Johnson is a long-term absentee with a shoulder problem, while strike partner Bobby Zamora has also struggled for fitness this season.
