Rocket claimed his fifth Soccer AM Dance Off title on Saturday with a cycling-inspired routine which won the hearts of the nation. The Dance Off king was already the most successful performer in the revered competition but extended his lead at the top of the list of winners with a display which saw him transform from a cockney chimney sweep into a bell-ringing cyclist - with a little help from the Crewe fans in the studio. The public voted him ahead of second-placed Tubes - still searching for his maiden Dance Off win - with pre-show favourite Franky Fryer in third. On receiving his prize Rocket explained his delight at recapturing the trophy he hadn't won since 2009. "It's amazing," he said. "But I couldn't have done it without the Crewe boys. "It's been at least three years since I won this so I'm well chuffed. I'd like to thank everyone that voted. This means everything." Rocket then stunned viewers when he tried to declare his dancing days over. "I'd like to take this opportunity to announce my retirement from the Soccer AM Dance Off," said the man who also won the title in 2003, 2005 and 2007. However Helen refused to accept his retirement and insisted the Dance Off king will return to defend his title in 2014. Click here to see the moment Rocket was announced as Dance Off 2013 champion
