Zenit boss will always be Rangers man

Zenit St Petersburg boss Dick Advocaat admits he is still a Rangers fan at heat. The Dutchman, whose side face Rangers in the Uefa Cup final in Manchester on Wednesday, spent four-years at Ibrox where he won two league titles. Now he faces Rangers - but admits he will always be a Rangers man. "I work for four-and-half-years and had great fun at Rangers," he told Sky Sports News. "I said it before, once you are Rangers you are always Rangers and I believe that." Advocaat is hopeful the extra time off his Zenit side have had, will benefit them - as Rangers have been not been allowed a break by the SPL. "If we win, they will say they are tired and if we lose, the SPL will say they were right - they were fit and sharp, so it's difficult to say but I think we have advantage on that," he continued. "The key point is can we break down their defence, but we have to be organised and have to try and steal a goal like Rangers do."

Premier appeal

Advocaat also admitted that he wants to manage in the Premier League "That will still come, oh yeah definitely - it will happen if the right club comes for me," he said. "My first two-years at Rangers were good, I been Holland coach two-times, champion in Holland, champion in Scotland and Russia."
