Bordeaux close gap at top, thriller at Lens

Bordeaux moved back to within six points of leaders Lyon at the top of Ligue 1. Bordeaux maintained their thin title hopes with a convincing 3-0 win over Strasbourg at The Stade Chaban Dalmas. The home side went ahead after 28 minutes when Henrique pounced and he doubled his and Bordeaux's tally just before the interval. Argentine Fernando Cavenaghi sealed the win as he fired home 15 minutes from time. A brilliant encounter at the Felix Bollaert saw Lens and Marseille share six goals in a thrilling 3-3 draw. Marseille raced into a two-goal lead by the half-hour mark with Samir Nasri (25) and Benoit Cheyrou (29) on target. Lens then hit back as Toifilou Maoulida (57) struck and then not long after the equaliser came through Kader Mangane (65). The Sang et or then went ahead as Ludovic Remy fired home - but just as they looked set to clinch a remarkable victory, Marseille levelled as Djibril Cisse grabbed an injury-time equaliser.
