Rovers chief in no rush to do any deals

Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has revealed he is looking to bring in one quality signing before the closure of the transfer window. Allarydce has been linked with a host of players as he looks to stamp his own mark on the club following his appointment last month. Ivory Coast defender Marco Zoro, Metz striker Babacar Gueye and Nancy defender Jean Calve are all fighting to win a move to Ewood Park after linking up on trial. Benfica ace Zoro has had his trial period extended after joining the club last week. However, Allardyce insists he is no rush before making any moves in the transfer market as he wants quality rather than quantity. "From my point of view, maybe one more player we need if one can be found," said Allardyce.

Quality

"We have a limited budget though and the player I find has to be at a similar level to the one I have. "That is a difficult task. If I can find him then fine, if not I am happy with what I have got. "I will only bring in a quality player that can challenge the quality we already have in the squad. "I am looking for a player to turn up and blow my socks off and say he is a good enough player to challenge what we have already got. "I don't see any point in taking any players other than for that reason but that is very difficult, of course."
