Alberto Gilardino's agent insists the striker will stay at Genoa next season, despite reported interest from Monaco.
Reports in the Italian press suggested the French side had made an offer of €8million for the 29-year-old forward.
However, Gilardino's agent, Giuseppe Bozzo, has denied any reports of a potential transfer and insists the 2006 World Cup winner will stay at Genoa.
"There are no negotiations in place regarding Gilardino," Bozzo told tuttomercatoweb.
"The club has assured us that he will remain at Genoa."
Gilardino only moved to Stadio Luigi Ferraris in January from Fiorentina, making 14 appearances and scoring four goals in a red and blue shirt during the second half of the campaign.
