Juventus' deal to sign Marco Borriello on loan from AS Roma has now been confirmed by the club's official website.

Loan deal could be made permanent

Juventus' deal to sign Marco Borriello on loan from AS Roma has now been confirmed by the club's official website. The Italy international striker had been out of favour under Roma's Spanish coach Luis Enrique. The deal for the 29-year-old Borriello includes an option for Juventus to make the move permanent in the summer at a cost of eight million euros. The striker earned himself an impressive reputation after scoring 19 goals with Genoa in the 2007-08 season before returning to Milan and enjoying a fruitful 2009-10 campaign. However, Borriello has started just two games for Roma this season and will doubtless relish the opportunity to revive his flagging career with Antonio Conte's joint league leaders.
