Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik has said that he wants to stay at the club and work under new manager Rafael Benitez.
The Slovakia international joined Napoli from Brescia in the summer of 2007 and has seen the Stadio San Paolo side become one of Europe's most feared teams.
Hamsik said: "For six seasons we've developed together, Napoli and me. We can still climb even higher. I'm comfortable here and I'd like to continue to grow with Napoli."
Hamsik's performances this season have drawn comparisons with former Juventus midfielder Pavel Nedved, but he says has many midfield heroes.
He added: "Me, Nedved? That's kind as he worked in midfield but could also score goals.
"But, I also like players such as Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and Zinedine Zidane."
Hamsik had been linked to a number of top clubs around Europe.
