Napoli right-back Christian Maggio hopes to renew his deal with the Serie A club in the near future, according to his agent.
The Italy international is currently contracted at the Stadio San Paolo until 2013 but is keen to agree an extension.
Maggio's agent, Massimo Briaschi, says the 29-year-old has no plans to leave the Azzurri before his deal expires.
He told Radio CRC: "I hope that Napoli will fix up a meeting soon to define the future of my client, although they probably have more important things to think about.
"Up until 2013 Maggio is tied to Napoli so until that date he will remain with the Azzurri.
"Christian is a player who appeals to many clubs, because there are few players like him in Italy.
"However, there is no room to deal with (the interest) because he has always been declared unsellable by Napoli."
