Juventus new-boy Carlos Tevez insists he has no fears regarding the air of expectation surrounding his arrival in Turin.
Tevez has joined the Italian champions from Manchester City and will inherit Alessandro Del Piero's famous No.10 shirt but he is unconcerned.
"I have no problem with the sense of expectancy," he told Cronica.
"I have demonstrated in the past the ability to withstand any pressure, even the weight of responsibility of wearing this shirt.
"In fact, I have to say that the responsibility excites me."
Tevez is less optimistic about his chances of forcing his way back into the Argentina national team ahead of next summer's World Cup.
"I think the national team are doing well, and I am doing well too without them," he added. "There is nothing else to say.
"I would not say no if they called me for the World Cup, but I think that the qualification is already certain. They are certainly playing well even without me."
