Dennis Aogo and Marcus Berg look set to remain with Hamburg SV for the foreseeable future.

Hamburg are currently 10th in the Bundesliga, and there has been speculation that players may be sold to cut costs.

However, Sweden international striker Berg says he will stay despite making just two starts this season.

"I have had a conversation with the authorities, and I also spoke to the manager," said the 26-year-old.

"They know what I want. I will remain at Hamburg this season, I am not leaving the club."

Aogo has been linked with moves away from Germany in the past, with several Juventus, Roma and Napoli said to have shown an interest in the full-back.

But Aogo's agent, Gordon Stipic, rejected renewed rumours regarding a move to Serie A for his client.

"We have been in touch with clubs from Serie A, but that was back in the summer of 2010, and later in the winter of 2010," said Stipic.

"In general Dennis has no interest in moving to Serie A."
