Milos Krasic is set to stay at Juventus but speculation linking the Italian club with a move for Stuttgart's Khalid Boulahrouz has been dismissed.

Stuttgart dismiss claims that Boulahrouz could join Italians

Milos Krasic is set to stay at Juventus but speculation linking the Italian club with a move for Stuttgart's Khalid Boulahrouz has been dismissed. Serbian winger Krasic has been linked with a move to Chelsea as part of a deal to bring Brazilian defender Alex to Turin. However, Krasic's agent has insisted there is no truth in the reports as he is happy at Juventus and the club have no plans to let him leave. "It's the first time I heard something like that," agent Marko Naletilic told calciomercato.it. "Krasic is having a great time in Turin, he just has to adapt to (Antonio) Conte's game which requires a lot of work on the wings. "Milos has no intention of leaving Juventus and the club doesn't want to sell him. These rumours are totally unfounded and I can firmly deny them."

No offers

While Juve appear determined to keep key players such as Krasic, they are also looking to bring in a couple of new faces before Wednesday's transfer deadline. Striker Emanuele Giaccherini has already been signed from Cesena on a three-year contract over the past few days, and Juve have now allowed Jorge Martinez to move in the opposite direction on loan. Reports suggest Juve are close to tying up a deal for Eljero Elia, despite the Hamburg winger's agent stating that he would prefer to play in England after being linked with Arsenal. Elia's fellow Dutchman Boulahrouz had also been connected with a move to Juve but his club, Stuttgart, maintain there has been no contact. Stuttgart general manager Fredi Bobic told kicker-Sportmagazin: "We have not received any offer for any player so far. "Khalid Boulahrouz is under contract at our club and I am definitely totally unaware of anything regarding him and an interest from Juventus."
