Alessandro Del Piero deflected attention away from himself after scoring his 199th Juventus goal.
The Italian netted during Juve's 4-0 victory over Modena on Saturday, along with Pavel Nedved and a brace from David Trezeguet, but preferred to congratulate his team-mates on another good performance rather than focus on the milestone he was in reach of.
"There is happiness because we played a good match," said Del Piero, who will now aim for his 200th goal against Piacenza.
"I liked the spirit with which we played."
Fellow striker Trezeguet was also delighted to see Juve continue their good start to Serie B.
"We know our situation. It will be a difficult season and our supporters know we need their help to reach Serie A," he commented.
"We played well but we must continue in this way, because it will be a long road.
"We have to show in each match a big desire to win."
