Marcelo Zalayeta's agent claims the striker has signed a new deal at Juventus.
Marcelo Zalayeta's agent has stated his client will not be leaving Juventus now that he has signed a four-year deal with the Old Lady.The Uruguayan hit-man, who is well down the pecking order at Stadio Delle Alpi, had been targeted by a number of European sides.
Agent Daniel Delgado insisted the likes of Real Betis, Parma, Lazio, Paris Saint German and Marseille had been chasing his client, although he played down Bordeaux's reported interest.
"Zalayeta won't leave Juventus. On Wednesday he signed a contract extension for four years," Delgado told skysports.com. "He was being approached by very good clubs.
"Betis, Parma, Lazio, Paris Saint Germain and Marseille wanted to sign Marcelo. But Juventus offered him the chance to stay.
"Bordeaux? They haven't shown any interest in my player."
