Juventus president Franzo Grande Stevens says Bianconeri all-time top scorer Alessandro Del Piero will not be leaving at the end of the season.

The Italian international has been the subject of renewed speculation about his future after admitting he has a desire to play in The Premiership.

Under Fabio Capello, Del Piero has struggled to hold down a first team place with both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David Trezeguet impressing at Stadio Delle Alpi.

However, Stevens has insisted that the Serie A side's skipper will not be departing come June.

"Del Piero is Juventus, he won't leave," said Stevens.

Both Capello and general manager Luciano Moggi have also stated in recent days that the Juve hero will play a central role in the future of the Turin outfit after he became the club's all time record goalscorer on January 10.
