Roche out for revenge

Goalkeeper Barry Roche believes Morecambe have a score to settle when they travel to Plymouth this weekend.

The Shrimps took a 2-0 lead against the Pilgrims at the Globe Arena in September through goals from Jack Redshaw and Richard Brodie, but a nightmare final 20 minutes saw them collapse to a 3-2 loss. "We completely threw it away at the Globe Arena," Roche said. "We were 2-0 up, really comfortable with 20 minutes to go and to lose three goals was criminal." But the 32-year-old feels the result will have no great bearing on events at Home Park, where John Sheridan will take charge of his first game as Argyle manager. "It will be a really good game down there," Roche said. "They've not been doing well but they've got a manager in John Sheridan who has a proven track record at this level, and above. "So they're obviously going to be going all out to impress their manager but we've got to make sure his first game doesn't end happily for him."
