Morecambe manager Jim Bentley was 'massively disappointed' after his side went down 3-1 to Bradford at Valley Parade.

Goals from James Hanson and Kyel Reid had the hosts cruising before Jack Redshaw's low shot gave Morecambe hope 10 minutes from time, but Gary Jones' superb free-kick sealed the points.

Bentley said: "I am gutted we lost - massively disappointed. We had not conceded a goal away from home in the league before this match.

"Bradford obviously did their homework on us and closed us down well and they have a big centre-forward in James Hanson for their set plays.

"Bradford is a massive club and shouldn't be playing at this level.

"We started well and caused them problems throughout. We created enough chances but we have got to put the ball in the back of the net. We should not be conceding goals like that."
