Winger Chris Shuker was delighted to mark his recall with his first goal for Morecambe in their 2-0 win at Stockport.
The Shrimps claimed the double over County with two goals to return to winning ways after the New Year's Day defeat against Accrington.
Shuker admitted that Morecambe fans have not seen the best of him since joining in the summer after being released by Tranmere but is hoping his goal will help him to recapture his top form.
He told the Morecambe Visitor: "I don't think I've shown what I can do since I have been here and it was probably right that I was out of the side.
"I have had to bide my time to get a chance again and it was great to score on my first game back.
"Hopefully now I can get a run in the side and we can go on a bit of a run ourselves and start climbing up the table."
