Morecambe manager Sammy McIlroy has backed defender Kieran Charnock to prove a success at the Globe Arena.
The Torquay defender made his debut in the recent home defeat to Crewe after joining the Shrimps on an emergency loan until January 4. McIlroy said: "I was very pleased with him, especially as we had only worked with him for one day. "He should be a big asset for us."
