Hull City midfielder Jamie Devitt has agreed to stay with Grimsby until the end of the season.

Mariners will keep midfielder until end of season

Teenage Hull City midfielder Jamie Devitt has agreed to stay with League Two strugglers Grimsby Town until the end of the season. The Mariners have been in talks all week about extending the stay of the 19-year-old and have now reached an agreement. Devitt has scored three goals in seven appearances for Neil Woods' side since moving to Blundell Park in mid-February. He will now be available for the Mariners' remaining nine matches as they try to secure their Football League status. Meanwhile, Town's teenage defender Matthew Bird has joined non-league neighbours Boston on a month's loan.
