Burnett up for Brentford test

Dagenham boss Wayne Burnett admits he is still looking to strengthen after starting the new season with a loss to Morecambe.

The Daggers now face a daunting test when hosting Championship outfit Brentford in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night, but Burnett has welcomed the challenge. "I'm actually looking forward to facing a Championship side and think it's a good thing for us," said the manager, who will still be without forward Rhys Murphy. "Of course we want to win, but there's no pressure on us and hopefully we can go out there and be better. We just need to be a little smarter and less naive. "We are still in the market for a striker and a wide man, but we've lost out on three or four, for whatever reasons," Burnett told Daggers Player. "We're trying to attract them, but sometimes players want to move elsewhere for financial reasons."
