George Porter has returned to parent club Burnley after the high-flying Championship side reviewed his loan spell at AFC Wimbledon.
Porter, 21, joined the Dons on a season-long loan in the summer, but has been recalled by the Clarets following a review. AFC Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley said: "There was a review period in January and George's form had dipped a bit before Christmas. "George was therefore left out of the squad when we decided to change our shape slightly. "George was unhappy about not getting game-time and Burnley were looking to see if things were happening the way they wanted them to. "Both clubs therefore decided it would be best for George to go back to Burnley so that they can review his situation."
