Southend United manager Phil Brown has been named the Sky Bet League 2 Manager of the Month for November, with Dagenham hot-shot Zavon Hines scooping the player accolade.
Brown led the Shrimpers through the entire month unbeaten, winning four of their five league matches as well as progressing in the FA Cup.
Former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley chairs the Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel and said: "Phil Brown has made a very positive start to life at Southend and an unbeaten month has moved his side into the automatic promotion places.
"In an incredibly tight Sky Bet League 2, Southend are one of five teams on 33 points in the division at the end of November."
Sky Sports' Football League pundit Don Goodman said: "Phil is using his considerable experience to lead a Southend promotion push out of Sky Bet League 2.
"Moving from eighth to third in November is a great start. But Phil will be keen to keep the momentum going long into the new year."
Dagenham & Redbridge striker Hines has won the player gong after scoring three times during the month, including the opener in the 2-0 win over Burton Albion.
The 24-year-old also scored a stunning solo goal in the away defeat to Hartlepool United as well as finding the net against Plymouth Argyle in a 2-1 away loss.
Dagenham manager Wayne Burnett said: "I'm absolutely delighted for Zavon, he has come here and really has set the place alight at times.
"The thing that has impressed me most is his incredible work rate, he has got a real hunger and desire. He works incredibly had and has a real love for the game.
"He has done very well this month with some goals and assists and deservedly so is getting the plaudits as he has worked incredibly hard for it."
Goodman said: "The former West Ham youngster has been in fine form in November for a Dagenham & Redbridge side pushing for a promotion place.
"He has added goals to his tricky wing play and looks to have settled in to regular football after a difficult few seasons."
