Cureton set for Grecians exit

Jamie Cureton admits he is looking for another club because financial constraints mean Exeter are currently unable to offer him a new deal.

The 37-year-old, who scored 21 times to finish as League Two's season-highest scorer, is keen to stay with the Grecians if the opportunity presents itself but his future looks to be elsewhere. "At the moment I am looking around for another club," he told the Express & Echo. "Tis told me about two weeks ago that there wasn't a contract for me. He said the club were going in a different direction and that it was only going to keep one senior striker on board and I wasn't that striker. "I'm not probably what I would consider a big earner down there either. I come within the budget of what they offer. I know people maybe think I'm one of the top earners down there but I'm not. "I will keep in contact with Tis, but if something does come up that I like and I have got a good feel for, then I probably will take it because with Exeter there is no guarantee."
