Striker Sam Williams insists Dagenham are starting to reap the benefits of his added shooting practice in training.
The 25-year-old started his fledgling career as a trainee with Aston Villa and enjoyed several loan spells before joining Yeovil in 2009, linking up with the Daggers two years later. However, after a promising start to his debut campaign, Williams missed most of last season with a cruciate knee ligament injury. The player returned to action in August and is now starting to find his scoring boots, with four goals in his last five games, including a well-taken winner in Saturday's 1-0 success at Bristol Rovers. Williams, who now has seven goals to his name this season, told Daggers Player: "Since I've come here it's the most finishing I've done as a striker. "We work a lot on crossing and finishing, a lot of time spent just with the strikers so I feel as though I get a lot of time around the box. "I was getting a lot of chances before and they weren't going for me so I'm happy to be in a rich vein of form." Meanwhile, Dagenham full-back Femi Ilesanmi has made a three-man shortlist for November's League Two player of the month award.
