Dagenham first-team coach Wayne Burnett is looking to find the key that will unlock goal-scoring form at Victoria Road.
The points were shared in a lacklustre match where both sides cancelled each other out over the 90 minutes.
"If I am honest with you, it wasn't the most entertaining game, very few chances created by both teams," Burnett said.
"We know we have to do better at home but we didn't create any chances out there.
"Aldershot didn't create that many either and we know we can play better.
"It actually looked like two teams in desperate need of some points. It as a very tough game, with two teams really having a battle."
