Cureton raring to go for Exeter

Experienced forward Jamie Cureton is striving to make his third spell at League Two club Exeter City as successful as his first.

The 36-year-old striker has re-signed for the club after proving his fitness during a pre-season trial. Cureton scored 20 goals in 2009-10 for the Grecians before leaving for Leyton Orient. He returned on loan last season but injury restricted him to just seven appearances. Now the former Reading man wants to repay the faith the club have shown in him. "I was happy to come back," he told the club's official website. "I was disappointed with how it went last year when I came back as I wasn't able to play my part. "This gives me an opportunity to give something back again."
