Yeovil Town boss Terry Skiverton has signed midfielder Anthony Edgar on a free transfer from West Ham United.

The 20-year-old, who was released from Upton Park last month, has impressed in both of the Glovers' pre-season friendlies so far this summer. Edgar, whose cousin is Tottenham and England striker Jermain Defoe, made his Hammers debut against Arsenal in the FA Cup in 2010 and has also had a spell on loan at Bournemouth. He is Skiverton's fifth signing of the summer, joining Dominic Blizzard, Kieran Agard and fellow former Hammers Gavin Williams and Bondz N'Gala at Huish Park.
