Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew insists that he will not be looking to sign a free agent to bolster his attacking options.
The Magpies boss failed to bring in a striker on transfer deadline day, but despite that he is not looking to bolster his options with a free agent.
Last season he did move for an out-of-contract player when he brought in veteran Shefki Kuqi to add to his forward line.
"I've no intention of bringing one (a free agent) one," he said. "I'll go with the group."
Pardew added that the return of French ace Hatem Ben Arfa will bolster his attacking options too.
"I think you have to remember I've got Hatem Ben Arfa training now," he continued.
"His imagination and flair on that pitch would have been a big asset for us - hopefully, fingers crossed, in two weeks' time he'll be on that pitch for us."
