Torquay United have agreed a deal to sign former Everton youngster Eunan O'Kane.
O'Kane, who was released by Everton last summer, was invited over for a trial at Torquay last week after catching the eye at Northern Ireland outfit Coleraine.
The 19-year-old impressed Torquay manager Paul Buckle on trial and they have moved to take him to Plainmoor on a short-term deal.
Torquay chief executive Colin Lee confirmed O'Kane had caught the eye during his trial spell.
"Paul Buckle has been very impressed with Eunan and this is an opportunity for him to establish himself in professional football," Lee told the club's official website.
"He joins a group of development players at the club such as Elliot Benyon and Mark Ellis who are young and want to progress and we will be giving him every chance to do so."
