Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that Wilson Palacios has undergone a medical at Stoke.

Crouch also linked with a move to the Britannia Stadium

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Wilson Palacios has undergone a medical at Stoke and has also revealed that he is uncertain over the future of striker Peter Crouch. The Honduras international midfielder has not played for Spurs this season and Redknapp confirmed the player is set to exit White Hart Lane. With the player poised to leave the North London outfit, Redknapp has revealed he is hoping to complete a move for West Ham's Scott Parker before the transfer window closes on Wednesday night. Stoke chairman Peter Coates confirmed the Potters were in discussions with Tottenham last week over the 27-year-old. It is understood that Palacios could move to the Britannia Stadium for a fee in the region of £8million. "Wilson Palacios is having a medical at Stoke," Redknapp said after Sunday's 5-1 defeat to Manchester City.

Wage structure

Crouch has also been linked with a move to the Potters, but Redknapp does not want to see the striker leave. City boss Tony Pulis refused to confirm whether Stoke were close to signing Tottenham pair, but he insisted that the club wage structure would not be broken. "I don't know what the latest situation is with Crouchy," Redknapp added. "People say we want to sell Crouch to Stoke and it's in the papers every day. Crouchy has to play under that. It's very difficult. "As far as I know he is staying." Meanwhile, Pulis said: "I've been told there is money available, that there is a pot of money, if I can find the right players. "There is money there and I'm just hoping and praying we can get players in who will help us again. "But the wage structure won't be broken. The basic wage at our club won't change."
