Blackpool have signed former Anderlecht midfielder Jonathan Legear on a short-term deal.
The 27-year-old Belgium international, who has been training with the Tangerines for several weeks, has agreed a deal until the end of the season, despite interest from other clubs.
"I'm happy to sign for Blackpool", Legear admitted to the club's official website.
"I'd like to help the team and the club to go further up the league which is our objective.
"I had offers from other clubs, five or six propositions maybe, but I made the best decision for me which was to play in England.
"I hope to give 200% for the supporters, chairman and new manager".
Legear's deal has an option for another season but remains subject to international clearance.
