Dundee United insist they will not be forced to sell any players this summer, amid speculation surrounding the future of Andy Robertson.
The 20-year-old full-back has been reported to be the subject of a bid from West Brom, while Everton and Southampton are among the other Premier League sides linked with Scotland’s PFA Young Player of the Year.
However, chairman Stephen Thompson says that the club are in a position to move forward and is adamant that players will not be sold unless an irresistible offer is received.
"After the financial restructuring we went through recently, we don’t have to sell anyone this summer," he told the Sunday Mail.
"We’re trying to build something here. As with everyone else, though, if someone comes in with a bid too good to refuse, we’d make a decision we felt was best for Dundee United."
