Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis says he will not discuss the future of goalkeeper Julian Speroni until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old, who joined from Dundee in 2004, is out of contract in the summer but there has been suggestions of a potential player-coaching role at Selhurst Park.
Speroni has been ever-present in the Premier League for the Eagles so far this season, as his side sit just three points above the bottom three.
Sunderland, who are directly below Palace in 18th, have two games in hand as Pulis' side still face a fight to secure their Premier League status.
Despite talk of Speroni's situation, Pulis was keen to focus on the remainder of the campaign and admits that a new deal will have to wait until their fate is sealed.
"I see Julian playing the next nine games, hopefully keeping us in the Premier League - from that point onwards we'll talk," he told South London Press.
