Inter Milan striker Ishak Belfodil admits he is looking for a loan move ahead of next summer's World Cup finals.
The Algerian target man was snapped up by Inter from Parma in the summer on a five-year deal, which also saw Antonio Cassano move in the opposite direction.
Belfodil has featured eight times in Serie A, but has started just once for Walter Mazzarri's outfit and he is now hoping for a loan move in January in order to secure regular first-team action.
"I hope to play more often, and this is not happening for now at Inter," Belfodil told the APS agency.
"The market window is coming, I have to talk to my leaders and I would like to be competitive in view of the World Cup.
"The market could be the right solution for me."
Sources close to Belfodil have told Sky Sports that a number of Premier League clubs are interested in taking him in the New Year.
