Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler is set to stay at the Serie A club after refusing an offer from a Premier League outfit, according to his agent Dino Lamberti.
The 29-year-old has been at Napoli for two seasons following a move from Udinese and despite talk of a move, the Swiss international looks set to stay in southern Italy.
Former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has taken over as manager of the club and according to Lamberti, the Spaniard has made Inler feel very much like a part of his plans.
"He's very happy and he told me that he's feeling good at the starting of the training camp," the agent said.
"There was an offer from a very prestigious English club but we have not taken it into consideration.
"Benitez has told Gokhan his plans and he feels that he will be important for both Napoli and the coach."
