Rochdale have bolstered their defensive options with the signing of Michael Rose, subject to Football League and FA clearance.
The 30-year-old departed League One side Colchester, where he played 24 times this season, in January and has linked up with Keith Hill's side on non-contract terms. Rose becomes Hill's second capture of the week after securing the signature of former Bradford midfielder Ritchie Jones on Tuesday.
