Bournemouth have signed winger Matt Ritchie from Swindon for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old has penned a three-and-a-half year deal, keeping him at Dean Court until summer 2016.
The Cherries have been chasing Ritchie for a while, putting in a bid in December 2011 which was rejected.
Ritchie, who has scored 10 goals this season, should go straight into this weekend's squad to face MK Dons.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe told the club's official website: "I think it sends out a statement of our ambition and what we are trying to create here. It's a big signing for us.
"He is someone that we have been watching for a long time now.
"I have known him a number of years and I have always admired him as a footballer and as a person, so I think it's a really good signing not just for now but for the future as well."
Meanwhile, Cherries left-back Jonathan Meades has extended his loan spell at AFC Wimbledon until the end of the season.
