Pirates pair stay with Tigers

Bristol Rovers duo Jordan Goddard and Mitch Harding have both extended their loans at Gloucester City.

The teenagers will spend another month at the Blue Square Bet Conference North side, with both expected to be involved in the Tigers' FA Cup clash with Leyton Orient on Sunday. Goddard, 19, has made just one appearance for Rovers, in a 3-1 FA Cup defeat of non-league Corby last season and signed his first professional contract with the club in the summer. Harding, 18, also has just the solitary run-out for the Pirates, coming on as a second-half substitute in the 4-0 loss to Dagenham on the final day of last season. That appearance capped a successful campaign for Harding who was top scorer for the club's youth team on his way to being named their player of the season, and he joined Goddard in penning terms at the Memorial Stadium in the summer.
