Dagenham & Redbridge have parted company with 22-year-old midfielder Danny Green by mutual consent.

Green joined the Daggers in May 2010 from non-league Billericay but has struggled to break into the club's first-team, enjoying loan spells with Braintree, Boreham Wood, Dover and Chelmsford. Green made a total of 22 outings for the Essex side, with one start and seven substitute appearances coming this term, and scored his only goal on the final day of last season in a 4-0 win at home to Bristol Rovers. His contract was due to expire at the end of this season. A statement from Dagenham read: "The club would like to thank Danny for the time he spent with us and wish him every success in the future." Meanwhile, Dagenham's 20-year-old striker Louis Dennis, an Academy graduate, has joined Canvey Island on a month-long loan deal.
