Sky Sports understands Manchester United have rejected several enquiries from Championship clubs to take Robbie Brady on loan.
Championship trio Wolves, Nottingham Forest and Burnley are all thought to have made bids to land the highly-rated Brady from the Red Devils.
The 20-year-old impressed during a stint out on loan at Hull City last season and the Championship trio were keen to take the versatile performer on a temporary basis.
Brady, who is currently away on international duty with the Republic of Ireland, is highly-regarded within the corridors of power at Old Trafford.
The Irishman made his first-team debut in the recent Capital One Cup win over Newcastle and United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has shunned the loan enquiries for his young star as he says Brady is part of his first-team plans at present.
