Wycombe Wanderers have signed Watford defender Adam Thompson on a one-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old will go straight into training with his new team-mates and could make his debut at Southend on Saturday.
The Northern Ireland international, who can play at right-back and centre-back, has made 12 first-team appearances for the Hornets, including playing the full 90 minutes in Tuesday's Capital One Cup clash against Bradford.
Chairboys manager Gary Waddock told the club's official website: "He's been on our radar for quite some time now and we're delighted we've been able to bring him to the club.
"He's got international experience, played in the Championship and in League One. We also watched him on Tuesday night and he played very well.
"We needed a right-back with Marvin McCoy injured and Danny Foster returning to fitness and Adam fits that bill perfectly."
