Talk of £30million offer dismissed
Sky Sports sources understand Manchester City have not made a bid for David Luiz and do not have an interest in signing the Chelsea defender.
Reports had claimed that City had launched a £30million bid for the Brazilian international defender.
However, Sky Sports sources believe that although City are in the market for a new central defender, Luiz is not on their radar and rumours of a bid from the Etihad are wide of the mark.
Luiz joined Chelsea in January 2011 when they paid over £20million for his signature.
He has gone on to become a cult figure at the club with its fans, helping them win the UEFA Champions League last term.
